You can now unlock your Motorola phone with a 'digital tattoo'

Dislike unlocking your own Android smart phone so much that even Facial Unlock or Skip seems like too much of an inconvenience ? Motorola just simply approached to your rescue . The company has teamed with VivaLnk to launch the previously teased Electronic digital Tattoo , an NFC-based skin tag that unlocks your own cell phone ( currently confined to the Moto X ) with a quick tap . The tattoo can easily stay on your body for up to five days , and it should stay alive abuses like showers and sweat-laden runs . It's an intelligent approach that might be appealing if you're sick and tired of PIN codes and patterns , although the back-of-a-napkin mathematics suggests that you're paying a whole lot just to conserve a couple of seconds when consulting your email . VivaLnk is asking $10 for packs of 10 tattoos , or sufficient to last 50 days -- you'll need to spend $80 to get through an entire year . It could be great for those busy days when you're constantly getting up your handset , but you might be happier rolling that money into a Moto 360 or the next big phone upgrade .
